Car catches fire in Peddapalli, none hurt

A moving car caught on fire here on Monday at Peddapalli on Godavarikani-Manthani road. No casualties have been reported and the car partially damaged.

The car was heading to Begumpet village in Karimnagar when the mishap occurred. Kumar who was at the wheel noticed the smoke from the engine and immediately stopped the car on the road and alerted his family members to get down.

The family then alerted the fire department who rushed to the spot and doused it.

This is second such incident in a week after a car heading to Mancherial from Hyderabad caught on fire after it reached Peddapalli. None injured in the mishap.roj
