Cardon & search operation held

Parigi: Police conducted a cordon and search operation at Ramapur on the outskirts here on Wednesday. In the wake of a string of robberies in the town and surrounding areas, police focused on people who came from other states.

The search was carried in the area, where several families came and settled from Maharashtra. They thoroughly checked the documents related to their vehicles and mobile phones.

Circle Inspector Mogulaiah said fingerprints of some people were also taken to know if anyone resorted to robberies. Police teams from Parigi, Doma, Kulkacharla, Pudur mandals participated in the operation.
