Celestial wedding performed

Regode: The wedding of Tulasi and Krishna was celebrated with gaiety and pomp on the occasion of 'Karthika Pournami' in the mandal on Tuesday.

After lighting of lamps, special prayers were offered at Gokarneshwar and Santhana Ganapathi temples. Temples were decked up and wore festive looks. Children also celebrated the festival by flying the sky lanterns.
