CITU to celebrate golden jubilee of TUs

Patancheru: The Centre of Trade Unions (CITU) is moving ahead with the aim of protecting the right of workers, said CITU State president Chukka Ramulu here on Friday. Addressing the preparatory committee of the second CITU district conference to be held here on August 17 and 18, he announced that to mark the completions of 100 years of formation of trade unions, CITU would celebrate the golden jubilee for one year.

Ramulu accused the Central government of making changes in labour laws depriving workers of their rights. He pointed out that corporate forces were able to get their things done by the government.
