Cleanliness drive goes for a toss

Karmanghat: Officials of the GHMC left the 'Saaf Hyderabad-Shaandar Hyderabad' policy only on record without implementing it. The RCI road which comes between Mandha Mallamma Junction to Balapur and Sai Ganesh Nagar Colony in Hasthinapuram is filled with garbage waste and nobody from the GHMC comes here to clear it.

The officials of the GHMC and Jillelguda Muncipality are shirking their responsibility as it does not fall under their zone. Colony residents are in a dilemma regarding whom to approach. The locals are requesting officials to clean the garbage wastes and arrange some dustbins to avoid the wastes entering into Sandhya river.
