Collector, poll observer inspect strongrooms

Khammam: With the election day fast approaching, the strongrooms where the Electronic Voting Machines is stored and where the counting takes place have been inspected by Election Returning Officer and District Collector RV Karnan on Friday. The Collector visited the strongrooms along with poll observer GK Arun Sundhar Tyalan and police observer Prem Kumar.

The Collector gave the information regarding all the strongrooms for the seven Assembly segments and counting centres to the poll observer. He also directed the officials concerned to see to it that all necessary arrangements were made. District Revenue Officer R Shirisha, DCP Muralidhar, R&B Executive Engineer Shyam Prasad, Survey and Land Records Assistant Director Ramu, Electricity Department SE Ramesh, Wyra ACP Prasanna Kumar and others accompanied the Collector.
