Commuters fume over damaged road

Gajwel: The commuters, who take the Ramayapalli-Ghanpur Road in the Gajwel constituency daily for commuting, are facing a lot of hardships as there are several ditches and potholes on the road.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, some commuters lamented that the officials of the Roads & Buildings Department were indifferent and apathetic to their pleas to get the road repaired.

They said that till now, they made several rounds to the office but the officials were lethargic. The villagers appealed to the State government to come to their rescue. They said that it was highly risky as such potholes may lead to accidents.
