'Computer knowledge is must for students'

Karimnagar: Computers have become part and parcel of everyone's life in today's world and having computer knowledge will be highly helpful for the students in their future, said Joint Collector Shyam Prasad Lal.

He inaugurated free computer coaching for about 150 students studying in Government Schools here on Wednesday. Barosa voluntary organisation in association with Space Computer Institute had organised the free coaching.

JC Shyam Prasad Lal appreciated the organisation for coming forward to give free computer coaching to the students of Government Schools. He advised the students to utilise the opportunity and learn various skills. Using of computers through Internet various topics related to their subjects can obtained and can get extra knowledge which would be helpful for laying firm foundations.

Learning things with passion and interest will make students perfect. Everything is possible with education hence students must strive hard and concentrate on their studies. Learning in early ages would help them live peacefully in later stages, he added.

Addressing Intermediate students, the Joint Collector said intermediate is a crucial stage of education in students' lives. They should not neglect their studies during this stage, which is like a turning point of life. The students must select the subject they are interested in and must grab the job opportunities in future, Lal advised.

Later, JC Shyam Prasad Lal distributed books, pens and pencils to the students donated by Barosa voluntary organisation.

DNA Trinath Reddy, writer Madishetty Gopal, Barosa voluntary organisation representatives Akkinapalli Nagaraju, Shiva Jyothi, Krishna, Shankar, Swathi, Swapna, Thirupathi, Srinivas, Laxman, Satish Babu and Kumar were present along with others.
