Congress dares defected MLAs to seek fresh mandate

Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee secretary Vamsichander Reddy on Wednesday dared the defected Congress MLAs to resign and seek fresh mandate from the people. Addressing the media here, he said the defected MLAs had shamelessly justified their decision to defect. He appealed to the people to teach them a lesson.

He said the Chief Minister, who once described defections as political prostitution, now indulged in the same. The Chief Minister said in the past that if the defected legislators would be thrashed if they went to the people.

The Chief Minister also asked the media persons to question the defected legislators. Finding fault with the defected MLAs allegations that the leadership of State Congress was defective, he remained them that same leadership had given tickets and helped them win.
