Covid-19 continues to spread fangs in Hyderabad

Hyderabad : Hyderabad city continues to witness spike in number of Covid-19 cases with each passing day.

About 168 families from the city were infected till now due to Covid-19 as cases continue to surge in Telangana without break.

55 new cases were seen on Saturday taking the overall tally to 1,509 cases across the State on Saturday.

As usual, GHMC contributed 44 of the fresh cases with 23 coming from a single apartment in Madannapet.

GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar visited the place took stock of the situation and declared Madannapet as a containment zone.

Another 8 migrants also tested positive taking the total count past 50 (52 as on date).

After Hyderabad, the large number of families whose members got infected is Ranga Reddy with 59 and then comes Medchal at 39. No deaths were reported on Saturday and the total remained at 34.
