District Collector RV Karnan flags off tourist tour in Khammam

Khammam: District Collector RV Karnan flagged off the tourist package tour here in Khammam town on Thursday. The tour which is sponsored by the Tourism Department of Khammam has nearly 35 students of Government Women's Degree College participating in it.

The tour details were explained by the District Tourism Officer Suman Chakravarthi. He informed that NSS and students pursuing history were taking part in the tour and the tour would cover all historical places in the district.

He also said as part of World Tourism Day on Friday, the tour programme was being conducted by the department. He said the tour would be very helpful to the students and added a quiz competition would be conducted for students at Bhaktha Ramadasu Kalaskhetram in Khammam.
