Eatala calls on Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan in New Delhi

Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender called on Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan in New Delhi on Monday. He urged the Union Minister to take positive decisions on earlier requests made by the Telangana government.

Rajender submitted a representation to the Union Minister urging assistance and permission to upgrade district hospitals to teaching hospitals with medical colleges, establishing of district hospitals in the new districts formed after the reorganisation of districts, setting up of mother-child health centres and regional cancer centres.

Also, he sought new blocks under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana scheme.
