Election campaigning for Lok Sabha polls to end today in Telangana

Election campaigning for Lok Sabha polls in Telangana will end today by 5 pm except in 13 assembly segments and in Nizamabad Lok Sabha segment. The election campaign in the 13 segments will end an hour early i.e, by 4 pm while in Nizamabad it will end by 6 pm as the EC changed the polling time from 8 am to 6 pm.

The 13 segments include Sirpur, Asifabad, Chennur, Belampalli, Mancherial, Manthani, Bhupalapallyl, Mulugu, Pinapaka, Yellendu, Bhadrachalam, Kothagudem, Ashwaraopet conclude the election campaign by 4 pm. The polling time in these areas is from 7 am to 4 pm.

Around 2.97 crore voters will exercise their vote on April 11 at 34,604 polling centres in all 17 Lok Sabha constituencies, said Chief Electoral Officer Rajath Kumar.
