Excise employee arrested for graft

Vikarabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Tuesday caught red-handed a Junior Assistant working with the district Prohibition and Excise department in Vikarabad.

According to ACB sleuths, the accused P Suresh demanded Rs 20,000 from the complainant Shaik Fayaz Hussain, a retired government servant (NCC Department) who is a resident of Mahabubnagar for processing and forwarding the pension papers of his deceased brother Shaik Khaza Hussain to the head office.

Based on the complaint the ACB sleuths hatched a plan and caught the accused red-handed when he was accepting the bribe amount of Rs 12,000 from the complainant.
