Fake news on Rasoolpura Metro Station creates panic

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed near Rasoolpura Metro Station after rumours that concrete from the walls fell on road, on Monday.

However, the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) officials said that it was false news being circulated on social media.

As the rumours spread, commuters raised doubts over the construction and safety of metro stations.

Commuters demanded that the State government order for a thorough enquiry as lakhs of people travel by Metro trains.
