Fire breaks out at chemical factory in Hyderabad

A major fire broke out at Karthikeya chemicals company here at Jeedimetla industrial area on early hours on Saturday.

The mishap has taken place due to the explosion of chemical drums inside the factory. However, no casualties have been reported.

Locals alerted the fire tenders who rushed on the spot and are battling to douse the fire. They were struck with fear as the thick flames engulfed the area. More details are awaited.
