Free eye checkup camp at zoo park

Bahadurpura: Nehru Zoological Park curator N Kshitija on Wednesday inaugurated a two-day 'Free Eye Checkup Camp' for the Zoo staff.

Speaking on the occasion, the curator said that all the employees and workers were expected to get benefited with the facility.

As part of the first phase, an eye camp (Optometric Test) was conducted for all the Zoo staff members, permanent as well as outsourcing.

The tests were conducted to screen the eye sight and eye-related problems, such as cataract, glaucoma, migraine and other eye infections, by the Uppal Industrial Employees Health Care Centre and Medi Eye Care Hospital, located in Uppal.

The camp was conducted under the supervision of the curator. Assistant Conservator of Forests Syed Maqsood Mohiuddin, Deputy Director (Veterinary) Dr MA Hakeem, Assistant curator M Bhavani Shankar and other officers were present.
