Grievance Day: Officials told to clear pending files

Khammam: District Collector RV Karnan directed the officials concerned to clear all pending grievances. The Collector took part in the Grievance Day programme held at the Collectorate and received pleas from people who turned up in large numbers. He interacted with the people and enquired about their problems.

Addressing the officials later, he said every officer should take up the responsibility of clearing the pleas. On the day, many pleas were received with regard to land issues.

Joint Collector Anurag Jayanthi, Assistant Collector Hanmanth Kodimba, ZP Chief Executive Officer Priyanka and other district officials attended the programme.

Praja Diwas held

The Praja Diwas programme was conducted by Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal on Monday. He received pleas from people and interacted with them. Additional Deputy Commissioners of Police (ACP) Muralidhar, Pooja, Wyra Assistant Commissioner of Police Prasanna Kumar, Special Branch Assistant Commissioner of Police Satyanarayana attended the programme.
