Hyderabad CP gives clarity on drink and drive test

Hyderabad: Amid of Covid-19 cases outbreak in Hyderabad, there are speculations on social media that Hyderabad police have cancelled drunk and drive test here in the city.

It is speculated that during the drunk and drive test the police use the same breathalyzer for all the person, and this may cause in the spread of Coronavirus and with this effect, the drunk and drive test will be stoped for some time.

Responding over this, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar has given clarity that the drunk and drive test will be carried out as usual and the news circulating on social media is fake.

He further said that as there is a chance of spread of Coronavirus during the test, but assured that all precautionary measures would be taken by using different straws for each drunk and drive test.
