The immersion of Ganesh idols have been commenced with the light showers bidding adieu to the festivities.
Tight security has been deployed during the procession programme with each and every moment being monitored by the police on the CC cameras.
A traffic advisory has also been issued on the routes leading to tank bund. However, the police also restricted the Ganesh procession over the flyovers.
