Hyderabad police arrest six for pelting stones at TSRTC bus

The Langer Houz police on Friday arrested six people for pelting stones at a TSRTC bus and damaged the windscreen while it is on its way to Parigi.

The arrested were identified as Raghunath (55), Chennu Sudhakar (53), Mohammad Alauddin (53), Amjad Khan (45), Mahboob Mohammad Khan ((51) and Abdul Hameed (54).

The police said that the arrested pelted the stones at the bus at NTR bus stop venting out their anger for running the buses despite the RTC strike. Based on the complaint lodged by the bus driver, the police arrested them and remanded after producing before a court.

In another incident, a person was arrested by the Golconda police for damaging the windscreen of an RTC bus near Shaikpet Nala.
