Hyderabad: Schools take to whatsapp to connect with students in Jeedimetla

In what can be termed a novel trend, school managements have started creating whatsapp groups to connect with the students and parents. Information pertaining to exams, PTMs, important questions, doubts and clarifications is exchanged. "We advised our students to do the revision," said R Raju, headmaster of Zilla Parishad High School, Jeedimetla.

"We are taking all the protective measures. Rest of the classes is closed. Our school has created a what's app group that was in these 15 days we are going to share all the day to work so that the children can do to the day to day work," said Jeevan Prakash, headmaster, Zilla Parishad High School, Rasoolpura. The principal of Dhatrak Public School, Jeedimetla village, Vinnie Mathews, said, "We created a whatsapp group. The day-to-day activities would be notified to students."

"For the SSC board exam, the classrooms would be cleaned and we also planning to keep a medical kit is school premises and also sanitizers would be kept in the classroom where the exam would be conducted," said P Manjula, the nrincipal of New Little Lily School, Jeedimetla.
