Khammam: All set for civic body polls, Collector informs State Election Commissioner V Nagi Reddy

Khammam: All set for municipal elections, informed District Collector RV Karnan here in Khammam on Tuesday.

He attended a video conference conducted by the State Election Commissioner V Nagi Reddy and explained the arrangements for the elections.

He said the election would be conducted to the municipalities of Wyra, Madhira and Sathupalli in the district and the polling stations were being arranged in that municipalities.

He informed that they had already identified the material distribution points and had appointed flying squads, nodal officers for conducting the elections.

The Election Commissioner ordered the Collector to make arrangements for the elections and identified the sensitive places in the municipality limits.

Joint Collector Anurag Jayanthi and Corporation Commissioner J Srinivas Rao and others attended the programme.
