Khammam: CPI New Democracy protests against scrapping of Article 370

Khammam: The activists and leaders of Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) CPI (ML) New Democracy on Tuesday staged a protest and burnt an effigy of the Central government for scrapping the Article 370 that gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Before the protest, the activists took out a huge rally.

Speaking on the occasion, party district secretariat member A Venkateswarlu condemned the decision of the Central government calling it unilateral. He said it is the black day in the history of Indian democracy.

Leaders of the party G Ramaiah, A Ashok, CH Siromani, Ramanadham, Suresh, Azad, K Srinu, Mangathai, Nageswara Rao, Prabhu, Guravaiah and Suryam and others took part in the protest.
