Liquor shops, bars to remain shut from tomorrow for Lok Sabha elections

In the view of Lok Sabha elections in Telangana, all the wine shops including toddy, military canteens, pubs and restaurants serving liquor to remain shut for two days i.e, from April 9 to 11.

The City Police Commissioner has passed the orders for closure of the wine shops situated in Hyderabad and Secunderabad from 6 pm on Tuesday to 6 pm on Thursday.

The liquor sale is restricted before the polls to prevent any untoward incidents on the polling day as it may be used to woo voters and some other purposes.
