He said that it would augur well for the industrial development in Telangana.

He predicted that Telangana would be the destination for several industries which are opting out of China and many multinational companies are keen to relocate their industries to India

"Since the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19), many multinational companies are keen to relocate their industries to India. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and IT, Industries Minister K T Rama Rao are closely monitoring the situation, and in all probability the duo will work towards bringing those multinationals to the State," Errabelli said.

He said that several industrialists have already approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi to operationalise their units from India, especially from Telangana. Although he was not favouring Telangana, Modi had agreed to the proposals of the industrialists, he added.

With Warangal having abundant water through SRSP, Kaleshwaram and Devadula projects, the industrialists are likely to prefer it for their relocation. The farming sector is already happy with the kind of irrigation facilities in the State. Now, the local unemployed youth would also stand to benefit, Errabelli said.
