Mahbubnagar: Special voters enrolment drive launched in Jadcherla

Mahbubnagar: Tahsildar Lakshminarayana has launched special voter enrolment drive in Madhavrao compound and Sri Venkateshwara colony in seventh ward of Badepally municipality in Jadcherla on Thursday. The Tahsildar said the special voters' enrolment drive has already been launched from January 1 and will continue till January 20.

He urged the people and particularly youth, who have acquired 18 years of age, to get themselves enrolled as voters by utilising this special enrolment drive.

The voter enrolment drive was organized in coordination with Forum for Better Jadcherla. Forum president Peddi Balakrishna said all those, who believe in democratic election process, must get enrolled as voters. The volunteers of the organization will visit each and every household in Jadcherla and take aadhaar cards and photos of all those people and register them online and the photo copies of the same will be submitted to Tahsildar for faster approval of voter identity cards.

Janata Rural Development Society president Shakir Jahangir Pasha, TRS leaders, Brahma Kumari Society Administrator Raghavaiah and others participated in the programme.
