Man kills father for insurance money

Medak: Gurrala Dayakar (20) was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly killing his father Gurrala Chandram on Aug 16.

According to police, Chandram was found electrocuted at his farm. On investigation, it was revealed that Dayakar with selfish motive of getting insurance money and other possessions framed a murder plan.

He connected binding wire to bore motor fuse. Chandram fell prey to Dayakar's plan when he went to switch on motor. The accused has been sent to remand. Higher officials appreciated SI Anjaneyulu and staff for investigating the case.
