Man posing as DSP held in Hyderabad

A 29-year-old man who posed as DSP in the Intelligence Department has been arrested by the west zone task force police on Sunday here at West Marredpally.

The accused MV Ravi Chandra, a resident of Rekha residency in Samrat Colony in West Marredpally has obtained a fake ID card, police dress and nameplate and managed his family members and colony people saying that he belongs to 2012 recruitment batch. Getting into details, Ravi Chandra is learned to have rejected by his girl friend's family for not having any job.

Later, he appeared before them as a DSP and made them believe he was the police.

However, the colony people who grew suspicious of his behaviour informed the police who questioned him. Ravi Chandra was taken into custody.
