Mandal, ZP elections counting in Telangana tomorrow

The counting of votes polled for MPTC and ZPTC elections in Telangana will be held tomorrow from 8 am to 5 pm.

Around 2,426 ZPTC candidates and 18,930 MPTC candidates contested in the elections which held in three phases across 123 polling centres in the state. The ballot boxes were secured at 536 strong rooms which were brought to counting centres tomorrow.

The Telangana government had issued an ordinance to conduct the MPTC and ZPTC elections in the state despite the tenure of the members and chairman is not completed.
