Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar scientific godown opened in Khammam

Khammam: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar stated that the government was working for the development of the farmers. The Minister took part in various development works in the district on Tuesday. He inaugurated a scientific godown which was built with Rs 3 crore in Raghunath Palem mandal.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the godown would be very useful for the district farmers in storing their produce. During his speech, he also explained various schemes and programmes by the government for the betterment of the farmers.

Ajay Kumar said that the State government was implementing Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema for the farmers. District Collector R V Karnan, while addressing the gathering, said the scientific godown would be useful for the cotton and chilly farmers in the district.

He said that nearly 100 advice centres for farmers were inaugurated across the district. The Minister also conducted a review meeting with all the officers at Khammam and discussed farmer related issues.

Zilla Parishad Chairman Lingala Kamal Raju, MLC B Laxmi Narayana, Agricultural Marketing Chairman Venkata Ramana, Aatma Chairman Laxman Gowd and public representatives and officers attended the programme.
