Moving car catches fire in Hyderabad, no casualties

A moving car caught on fire here at Medipally on Sunday evening. However, no casualties have been reported.

Two people who are passing through Medipally about 4 pm in the evening have noticed smoke from the engine and got down from the car. Soon after they deboarded, the fire engulfed the car and a huge amount of smoke and flames were seen in the skies.

The car was completely gutted in the fire. Fire tenders reached the spot and doused the fire. A case has been registered by the police.

In a similar incident, a car caught on fire at Osmangunj. A person who was driving the noticed the fumes coming out of the vehicle and parked it aside. Locals rescued the man and put out the fire by pouring water. The car was partially damaged.
