Municipal chairperson post to be vacant soon

Tandur: Municipal chairperson Sunitha Sampath is all set to contest as ZP chairperson. Congress high command has declared her as the candidate. Sunitha has enrolled her name in Lakshminarayanpur of Yalal mandal. It is learned that she had removed her name from Tandur voter list.

It is yet to be known whether Sunitha will submit her resignation before filing nominations or after filing nominations. Congress activists said that they have confidence in Sunitha and that she would develop the area.
