New municipal bill approved by Telangana assembly

The New Municipal Act-2019 has been approved by the Telangana assembly today. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao introduced the bill in the assembly replacing four ordinances and the objections over it are welcomed by today evening.

Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao explained the salient features of the bill to the speaker and sought his approval. After Rao explained the bill, the speaker approved the bill and adjourned the assembly to July 19.
