New traffic lights installed in Khammam

Khammam: The Khammam police on Tuesday carried out installation of new traffic signal lights at various centres in Khammam town that were damaged due to heavy rains recently.

With no proper traffic lights, the residents of the town have been facing traffic problems for the last many days in the town.

The town, which is also the headquarter of the district and the municipal corporation, has witnessed many accidents on various of its roads due to absence of traffic lights.

The traffic police and other concerned departments were appealed for restoration and repair of traffic lights at various centres in the town.
