Officials told to expedite roadworks

Tandur: MLC Mahender Reddy and MLA Rohith Reddy directed the officials concerned to complete the roadworks in the town as well as villages in the constituency as soon as possible.

Speaking in the constituency level officers meeting held under the supervision of district Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam here on Friday, the leaders said the conditions of the roads were in very bad condition. They said complete the road works on permanent basis and fill the potholes wherever necessary.

They directed the officials of RWS for Mission Bhagiratha water for some colonies, electricity employees for dysfunctional streetlights and municipal officials about the unhygienic conditions prevailing in the town. They directed tahsildar Dasharath to construct protection walls for the vacant government lands to save them from encroachments.
