One killed after water tanker rams into bike at Kukatpally

A person was dead on the spot after a water tanker rammed into his bike here at Vasanth Nagar in Kukatpally on Wednesday.

The man, Syed Qasim (25), who was working in Narayana junior college was hit by the tanker when he travelling on a Honda Activa bike. The police shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy. Further details are awaited.

Earlier in the day, two women sustained serious injuries after a car hit them at LB Nagar. The injured were identified as Venkatamma and Sattamma. The police took the car driver into custody are investigating.
