Palabhishekam to Dr BR Ambedkar's statue

Tandur: Leaders of Madiga Reservations Porata Samiti (MRPS) along with other union leaders performed palabhishekam to statue of father of Indian constitution Dr BR Ambedkar here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, MRPS district president Peddolla Anand Kumar Madiga expressed anguish as police officials thrown Ambedkar's statue in a dustbin claiming the statue lacks permission.

CITU district president Srinivas, KVPS district president Mallaiah, MRPS district vice-president G Arvind Kumar Madiga and others were present.
