PDSU stages protest over fee reimbursement dues in Narayanguda

Narayanguda: PDSU's Greater Hyderabad unit organised a protest at Naryanaguda Crossroads on Thursday, demanding the State government that release fee reimbursement dues and resolve issues facing education sector in the State.

Demanding that the State government release the pending fee reimbursement amount, PDSU state president Parushuram said the delay in releasing fee reimbursement dues has caused undue problems to students studying in junior and degree colleges. Some degree college students were even denied certificates by college managements, as the due fee amounts were not reimbursed to colleges, he said. As a result, many students could not apply for higher education courses, he said. He demanded that the government release Rs 300 crore pending dues in Medchal-Malkajgiri district. He also demanded that the government fill the vacant teaching and non-teaching posts in universities and colleges.

Among those who participated in the protest include president of Greater Hyderabad PDSU Riyaz, general secretary Nagaraju, Ganesh, Naveen, Lokesh, Nageshwar, Sriram, Harish, Prasad and others.
