Politicos urged to cooperate for polls

Tandur: RDO Venu Madhav said they were planning to hold the upcoming municipal elections successfully and all political parties must extend their cooperation. He conducted a meeting with the representatives of various political parties, here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the RDO said the number of wards has been increased from 31 to 36 hence, 90 polling stations will be set up for the polls. He said any objections can be submitted till 19th of this month.

He said that 48 voters were enrolled on a single house number and investigation is going on the issue. We will take action against the offender, he added. Tahasildar Dhasharath, municipal manager Janardhan Reddy were also present.
