Provide rehabilitation to poor tribals, demands Seethakka in Asifabad

Asifabad: Mulugu constituency MLA Seethakka along with Sirpur constituency Congress in-charge Dr Palvai Harish Babu visited Vempalli timber depot in Kagaznagar on Tuesday, where 67 persons including children of 14 families of aboriginal tribal were kept.

Mulugu MLA Seethakka interacted with the tribal families, who were arrested for shifting cultivation in reserve forest areas. She accused Asifabad District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu and Asifabad MLA Sakku for arresting tribals, who have been cultivating the lands since decades. She also demanded the government for rehabilitation for the poor tribals.
