Ragpicker injured after container in garbage explodes in Hyderabad

A ragpicker suffered minor injuries after a chemical container in garbage exploded at Ram Nagar under Musheerabad police station limits on Saturday.

The incident took place when Nagaiah was collecting the scrap near the White House hotel. Locals informed the police who shifted him to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.

The police suspected that a paint container thrown into the garbage might have been exploded. The police along with the dog squad inspecting the surroundings. However, the reason for the blast is yet to be confirmed by the police.

The explosion has panicked the residents in the area. MLA Muta Gopal, BJP state in-charge Lakshman and other leaders inspected the spot.
