Real estate trader brutally murdered

Rajanna Sircilla: A real estate trader from Sircilla town, Ramesh Sirigiri (48) was brutally murdered in the outskirts of Cheerlavancha village, Vemulawada urban mandal late on Friday night.

The accused, ED Dandi Venkatesham of Gandhi Nagar, Vemulawada, allegedly slit Ramesh’s throat with a sharp knife over a personal dispute. The accused surrendered at the Vemulawada Town Police Station on Saturday morning. Police suspect the murder stemmed from disagreements related to land transactions.

Additional SP Sheshadrini Reddy and Rural CI Srinivas visited the crime scene. A case has been registered, and police are conducting a thorough investigation.
