Sangareddy: District bags Best Collector Award

Sangareddy: The District Collector, M Hanumantha Rao, has been selected for the best Collector award, for the innovative measures he had taken up. He was chosen for the award for providing proper facilities to the disabled persons to cast their vote in the Assembly and Parliament elections.

The number of voters with disabilities had increased due to the measures taken up by the Collector. The Department of Disabled and Senior Citizens Welfare selected the Sangareddy Collector for the award. Hanumantha Rao will receive the award in Hyderabad on Tuesday on account of the International Day for Persons with Disabilities.
