SCCL officials told to take safety measures at mines in view of summer

Kothagudem: Every employee should take all types of safety measures, especially those working in the open cast mines, said Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Kothagudem Area General Manager KV Ramana Murthy.

Speaking at a meeting held at his office on Monday, the GM said all the workers of the company should take extra care of themselves in hot summers, especially those working in the open cast mines as they stand an easy chance of falling prey to heatwave.

He further added that the company would provide all facilities like drinking water, shade and medicines in all its areas.

The officials of various departments of the company explained the safety measures taken in the open cast mines.

Special Officer to GM Narayana Rao, Area Engineer Damodhar Rao, Assistant General Manager (Personal) P Srinivas, Area Safety Officer KG Rao, Manager Srinath, GP Rao, DGM Prasad Rao, Karunakar Rao, P Srinivas and other officials attended the meeting.
