Shandnagar: Two killed in road accident

Shandnagar: A woman and a child were killed in a road accident on National Highway 44 at Kottur on Sunday morning.

According to police, the speeding bike which they were riding was on its way to cross the junction at Kottur bypass, hit a lorry coming in the opposite direction. Due to its impact the woman and the child where were riding pillion fell on the road causing grievous head injuries and died on the spot.

The police have identified the deceased as residents of Rangapur village in Shandnagar mandal
