Singareni Collieries Company Limited celebrates World Environment Day

Kothagudem: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Singareni Collieries Company Limited conducted a special programme in Kothagudem on Wednesday. Company Director (Finance) N Balaram attended the programme and planted saplings on the premises of the Head Office.

The Director and the other staff members planted over 105 types of saplings on the day. Later, addressing the staff, the Director said everyone should take the responsibility of saving the environment and should plant more trees to protect it. He urged everyone to take part in the State government's flagship programme, Haritha Haram.

General Manager K Basavaiah, Ravi Kiran, Bethi Raju, Geetha Mohan, Chandra Sekhar, Subba Rao, D Solomon, Somi Reddy, Murthy and other officials and staff attended the programme.
