Six youths drowned at Medigadda Barrage

Bhupalpally: In a tragic incident, six youths drowned Medigadda Barrage on Saturday.

Four youths from Ambatipalli village in the Mahadevpur mandal of Bhupalapalli district and two youths from Korlakunta village were heading to the barrage in the evening when they accidentally drowned in the Godavari River.

The incident site was inspected by SI Pawan Kumar from Mahadevpur.

Rescue and recovery operations have been initiated by both the police and local villagers to retrieve the bodies.

These youths, while swimming in the Godavari River, tragically drowned. SI Pawan Kumar from Mahadevpur has examined the scene of the incident, and the police along with the villagers have taken steps to recover the bodies.
