Somesh Kumar appointed new principal secretary irrigation & CAD

Hyderabad: The State government on Thursday appointed Somesh Kumar as the new Principal Secretary (Irrigation and CAD) department.

He was given Full Additional Charge as he is already holding the post of Special Chief Secretary for Excise and Commercial Tax, Revenue Department.

He replaced Vikas Raj, who has now been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary (Panchayat Raj and Rural Development) department.

Irrigation portfolio is held by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
