Student unions flay corporate colleges

Osmania University: Student unions in a novel manner staged demonstration in front of AMS College here on Monday asking students not to join corporate colleges including Narayana and Sri Chaitanya.

They raised slogans stating the colleges are mounting pressure on students for ranks.

About 40 to 50 students are committing suicide every year unable to bear the pressure.

They demanded that the government seize colleges that have no permission.

PDSU OU secretary Gaddam Shyam, TVV state leader Amdeep, Gopi, Ganesh, Timesh, Jeevan and others were present.
